The aim of The Maya Tree is to showcase, and translate into critical discourse, the best creative and critical work being generated in the university. Taking the enormity of this undertaking into consideration, the expanding project Council has attempted to put the virtual infrastructure into place, and put up branches as respective teams come into being and establish operations. One Council member is currently dedicated almost exclusively to establishing the Fine Arts/Architecture team. To establish the Branch,
